Post Production Engineer 6 Month Contract

Summarised responsibilities will include:

• Creating and maintaining post production systems and pipelines.
• Escalation of technical issues for staff when required, including hardware, software, and AV equipment.
• Coordinating with our engineering dept on regular touring/maintenance of edit suites (iMac Pros, AJA/BMD video hardware, Adobe Premiere, Autodesk Flame, displays, AV equipment, etc.).
• Collaborating with the Engineering team on the management of Pixstor SAN, network and security principles such as file/folder permissions and assisting with backup and archive workflows.
• Engaging in good and secure working practices.
• Producing and maintaining clear and thorough documentation of all post production systems and pipelines.

Requirements for this position will include:

• Essential
  • The ability to observe confidentiality of clients and products and help others to do so. o Excellent knowledge of macOS and Windows 10 and Linux.
  • Experienced Windows administrator who understands Active Directory and configuration management tools.
  • Strong experience supporting AV systems, hardware and software.
  • Experience in supporting CGI pipelines for post-production and the use of software such as Autodesk Maya, Nuke, Arnold and Deadline o Thorough understanding of network topology

• Desirable
  • Experience working with Linux.
  • Previous experience with security workflows and processes.
  • Experience in SAN management and configuration, particularly Pixstor. o Experience supporting Autodesk Flame or related products.
  • Experience supporting T eradici PCoIP .
  • Knowledge of colour management.
  • Operational knowledge of AWS Cloud platforms.
  • Ability to script with Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
