Development Executive - Tailored Films
Tailored Films require a part time development executive to work alongside the team on managing and developing their slate of feature film and TV projects starting in July. The role will initially be on a three day per week basis with scope to extend to full time based on performance / role requirements after a three month period. The role will involve script reading, collating and writing notes, developing timelines for projects, managing schedules, writing reports for stakeholders, strategic planning and brainstorming, amongst other items. The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
Essential skills
- A love of drama - avid film and TV viewer and swift reader
- Clear experience in script reading and writing notes (prior industry experience v useful)
- Excellent writing, organisational and administrative skills (email, google drive, word, excel)
- Great timekeeping and multitasking skills / ability to work on own initiative
- overall enthusiasm, networking and interpersonal skills
- Team player
Desirable Skills
- An honours Degree in film / media/ communication / the arts is desirable but not essential
- Detailed knowledge of Irish / international film landscape / emerging talent / commissioning processes
- Strong knowledge of funding opportunities with regard to commissioning / development / festival deadlines
- A desire to grow career as development producer
