This is an exciting new opportunity for someone to manage TV3s Studios.
The Post holder will optimise the usage of TV3s Studios; and will integrate
people, processes, and technology. There is also a significant business
development aspect to this role.
The post holder will require a combination of skills including:-
Production Management
Sales Management to drive the commercialisation of TV3s technical resources and
Technical Management to anticipate and facilitate 1st, 2nd and 3rd party usage of TV3 resources including our new studio
Working Relationships
Responsible to: Director of Broadcasting
Liaison with: All competency areas in TV3, namely Broadcasting,
Content, Corporate and Commercial, External Clients etc
Main tasks of Job
To optimise usage of TV3 Studios
To optimise the usage of TV3s Post Production facilities
To manage all deals with Producers and Directors
To foster excellent relationships with Clients
To sell the services of the Studio
To optimise occupancy of our Studio facilities
To ensure that all technical requirements are provided
To arrange audiences, as required
To manage audiences
To manage the facility and ensure that it is maintained and meets health and safety standards
To develop a client base, and grow same.

Essential
Extensive relevant Industry Experience
Extensive contacts including Production Companies, Producers and Directors and ability to foster excellent working relationships with same
Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Experience in co-ordinating and managing events
Sound technical knowledge
Sales experience
Sound operational working knowledge of TV Broadcast Studios
Experience in the management of Health and Safety
Experience in Facilities Management
Television Production Management experience
Experience in managing studio crews
Excellent IT skills
Excellent Communication Skills
Excellent Interpersonal Skills
Ability to foster healthy working relationships with co-workers, clients and audiences
Desirable
A relevant third level qualification
