Background Artists required for HD animated TV series.
Working from layouts the Background Artist will create coloured, locations for the series according to the style of the show. Amongst their duties the successful candidate will be responsible for creating colour keys, colouring backgrounds, colour styling or props and new characters, creating textures for props, determining and maintaing resolution of layout scans and layering of files for composition.
Applicants must have strong visual skills, a good eye for detail, scale, composition, colour and form. A full working knowledge of Photoshop is vital, knowledge of After Effects and Anime Studio Pro is not required but would be useful.
They must be organised and able to meet established deadlines as well as being good team players.
Only applicants with previous experience in BG painting for animated series need apply.
