Taking place over 5 days from the 23rd to the 27th November 2011. The 24th Foyle Film Festival contained it's usual eclectic mix of contemporary, foreign language film, documentaries, competition short films and animations, as well as workshops and industry events.
Highlights of this year's festival included the premieres of contemporary silent movie 'The Artist' and 'Shame' the latest collaboration between director Steve McQueen and Michael Fassbender.
The festival also paid host to a wealth of Irish talent including Writer/Director/ Producer Terry George and actor Brendan Gleeson. |
