Netflix have released a teaser trailer for new series 3 Body Problem starring Liam Cunningham, from Emmy Award-winning writers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss.
The first look at 3 Body Problem, the new Netflix Original series from Emmy Award-winning creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss (Game of Thrones), and Emmy-nominated Alexander Woo (The Terror: Infamy, True Blood). The series is based on the international bestselling book trilogy, The Three-Body Problem.
The synopsis of the series is described as follows: “A young woman’s fateful decision in 1960s China reverberates across space and time to a group of brilliant scientists in the present day. As the laws of nature unravel before their eyes, five former colleagues reunite to confront the greatest threat in humanity’s history.”
The series stars Irish actor Liam Cunningham, as well as Benedict Wong, Jess Hong, Jovan Adepo, Eiza González, Alex Sharp, John Bradley, Zine Tseng, Saamer Usmani, Rosalind Chao, Marlo Kelly, Sea Shimooka, and Jonathan Pryce.
3 Body Problem is executive produced by Benioff, Weiss, and Woo, along with Bernadette Caulfield, Rian Johnson, Ram Bergman, Nena Rodrigue, Brad Pitt, Jeremy Kleiner, Dede Gardner, Rosamund Pike, Robie Uniacke, Lin Qi, Zhao Jilong, Fenfen Xu, and Xiasong Gao.
The series will arrive on Netflix on March 21st, 2024.
