Mickey Rourke plays an IRA hitman, Fallon, who chooses to turn his back on killing and escape to England. The price of his freedom is one more hit for the local crime boss. This is witnessed by the local priest who Fallon attempts to trick into silence by having him hear his confession. But he doesn’t bargain for the rapid approach of the police and an IRA hit squad. The love interest centres on the priest’s blind niece and soon they are all involved in this political thriller.
