Dublin 1960's. Bus conductor Alfie Byrne is captivating his passengers by reciting from the works of Oscar Wilde. This morning however, they are joined on their route by a new face, the beautiful Adele Rice and Alfie realises he has the opportunity to fulfill his dream of staging Wilde's "Salome", with Adele as his princess.
