The Clones Film Festival is made up of 4 days of film - features, shorts, documentaries and kids' movies and a 48hr Short Film Challenge. Short Film submissions are being accepted from the 1st of May to 31st of August 2016.

The Baton Rouge Irish Film Festival was founded in 2009 by The Baton Rouge Irish Club. The Festival showcases Irish talent, promotes cultural diversity and encourages collaboration between individuals and businesses in Louisiana and Ireland. Our annual Festival features Irish short films, feature films, dancing, music, food, art, merriment and much more.

We would like to welcome you to submit your films or interactive documentaries and other non-fiction forms of digital storytelling for IDFA 2016. The second and final deadline is August 1, for all films finished after April 1, 2016. IDFA must receive an online screener, a completed IDFA entry form and payment of the €40 entry fee (excl. VAT).

This course is a primer in directing. An introduction to all the main aspects of directing is combined with practical exercises in shooting to give an overview and experience of the basics – the practical knowledge you need in order to direct films. You will be guided through the process of preparation, taking in all the major departments that come together to make a film possible. In addition to practical exercises, all participants will shoot and crew short scenes.
