The First Draft And Beyond - Screen Training Ireland

This intensive, project-based, development programme is aimed at screenwriters and creative teams behind first and second-time Feature Films. Participants should have a strong film project ready to progress from outline to first draft, or from first to revised draft. Eight projects will be chosen to take part. Following the opening workshops on the craft of screenwriting, participants will then have one-on-one input and guidance on their own scripts.

Irish actors Saoirse Ronan (Brooklyn) and Michael Fassbender (Steve Jobs) are nominated and there is also nominations for Brie Larson and Jacob Tremblay from Irish film Room and the cast of Game of Thrones is also up for an award.

Deadline for Screen Training Ireland's ASSET Programme

ASSET training fund is aimed at specialist design skills for digital and physical production.
ASSET is a flexible and bespoke training initiative led entirely by the individual participant. The scheme is targeted at design skills for digital and physical production with particular emphasis on specialist technology and design skills, including software training and cutting edge international industry practice.
