The nominations for this year’s Motion Picture Sound Editors‘ 63rd annual Golden Reel Awards have been revealed and Irish Sound Editor Niall Brady has been nominated in the category of Best Sound Editing (dialogue and ADR in a Feature film) for his work on Lenny Abrahamson’s Oscar nominated film ‘Room’.

Under the Galway UNESCO City of Film designation, Galway Film Centre, in association with the Science Foundation Ireland Centre for Research in Medical Devices (CÚRAM), have just launched a partnership project called ‘Science on Screen’ which aims to facilitate, promote and increase the inclusion of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) content in Irish film and TV production.
