Elfar Adalsteins (Sailcloth) is set to make his feature debut with the project, which is written by Michael Armbruster (Beautiful Boy) and will also star John Hawkes (Winter's Bone) and Logan Lerman (The Perks of Being a Wallflower).
Bolger also stars in ‘Halal Daddy’, the culture clash comedy from Conor McDermottroe which is set to release to cinemas on June 30th.
Rocket Science are handling world sales for the project in Cannes this month, with previous titles including ‘The Sea Change’ (Kristin Scott Thomas) and ‘Bubbles’ (Mark Gustafson).
‘End of Sentence’ is to be produced by David Collins of Samson Films alongside Adalsteins and Gudrun Edda Thorhannesdottir of Berserk Films, and Joni Sighvatsson of Palomar Pictures.
It follows an uptight widower who embarks on a journey to Ireland with his ex-con son to scatter his wife’s ashes.
The awkward pair must endure an Irish wake, the resurfacing of an old flame, an intriguing hitchhiker played by Bolger, and plenty of other unresolved issues.
Thorsten Schumacher, CEO, Rocket Science:
