Adapted for television by Irish writer Jo Spain, production on Mix Tape will continue in Dublin, having begun in Sydney last May.
Mix Tape is an Australian-Irish co-production, which began shooting in Sydney in May and is now underway in Dublin. The upcoming series’ cast includes Mark O’Halloran (Mary & George), Helen Behan (Malpractice), Conor Sánchez (Hope Street), Jonathan Harden (Blue Lights), and Siobhan O’Kelly (The Tourist).
The upcoming series follows Alison and Daniel, two friends now living on opposite sides of the planet, Sheffield and Australia. They reconnect years later through shared musical memories, wondering if they're meant to be together.

Alison Hurbert-Burns, Lana Greenhalgh and Clare Mirabello serve as executive producers alongside David Fortier, Ivan Schneeberg, Nick Nantell, and Erik Pack for Boat Rocker. Australia’s Lucy Gaffy (Totally, Completely Fine) will direct the series. English actor Jim Sturgess (One Day) will portray Daniel, and Australian actor Teresa Palmer (The Fall Guy) will play Alison.
