Writer/director Marian Quinn and her brother actor Aidan Quinn (Song For a Raggy Boy, Michael Collins) will be among the attending guests at the World Premiere of new Irish feature ‘32A’ taking place at the Galway Film Fleadh on Friday 13 July.
The coming of age drama is the debut for writer/director Marian Quinn. Set in Dublin’s Northside 1979, the film stars young actress Ailish McCarthy as Maeve Brennan with Aidan Quinn playing her father. The film also stars Jared Harris (Igby Goes Down) and Orla Brady (Proof).
‘32A’ is being screened as part of the First Feature & New Irish Cinema strands of the festival. Both Marian and Aidan Quinn are confirmed to attend the Galway premiere alongside other actors Ailish McCarhty, Sophie Jo Wasson, Orla Long, Riona Smith, Orla Brady and Kate O’Toole. Marian Quinn will participate in a post screening Q&A.
