Kate Bowe PR are the only company in Ireland who have worked in all stages of film publicity, from the actual making of the movie right through until its release on DVD, and have managed some of the most successful film releases in Ireland. The film division is split up into five categories:

  • Film Release Publicity: Working with the major studios and many independent distributors, the highly experienced film division at Kate Bowe PR have developed publicity campaigns for many titles including 12 Years A Slave, Dallas Buyers Club, Calvary, Behind the Candelabra, Seven Psychopaths, Safe Haven, Argo, Broken Song, The Impossible, The Sapphires, Twilight Breaking Dawn, A Dangerous Method to name but a few.
  • Home Entertainment: Kate Bowe PR, through their creativity and knowledge of both national and regional media, are currently looking after selected titles from eOne including the DVD release of Albert Nobbs, Warner Home Video DVD release of Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix. The team have also handled the publicity for Paramount Home Entertainment. This involved promoting the DVD and VHS versions of their new releases, kids and extensive back catalogue of titles including The Italian Job, Rugrats and the Indiana Jones boxset.
  • Film Festival Publicity:The company has successfully managed the publicity for a number of film festivals including the Dublin International Film Festival, Subtitle, Celtic Film and Television Festival, Irish Film Boards 10th Anniversary Showcase, Tartan Asia Extreme, and China in Focus.
  • Unit Publicity: Kate Bowe PR has worked with a number of film and television projects both at home and abroad including Mrs Browns Boys D'A Movie, Calvary, The Sea, All Is By My Side, P.S I Love You, The Wind That Shakes The Barley, King Arthur, Veronica Guerin, Casanova, Becoming Jane, The Frontline, Boy Eats Girl, Isolation, Studs and Springbreak in Bosnia starring Richard Gere and Terence Howard. The company also worked for 5 years with the hugely successful Ballykissangel. TV / Media: Clients include Boulder Media and Brown Bag Films' animation work with Disney with titles including Doc McStuffins and Henry Hugglemonster. In early 2013, Kate Bowe PR worked on the inaugural Digital Biscuit technology and media event.
  • Corporate Publicity:The company manages corporate PR for film related companies such as The Dublin Cinema Group including the 75th Anniversary celebrations for the Savoy Cinema on O'Connell Street. The company also looked after the launch and re-launch of many Omniplex Cinemas around the country including Munster's largest cinema at the Mahon Point Shopping Centre in Cork. Kate Bowe PR worked with UGC Cinemas on the successful re-launch of the new state of the art 17 screen Cinema in Parnell Street and the publicity for the websites Movie Extras and Castings Worldwide. Kate Bowe PR has also handled publicity for the Irish Film and Television Awards.

Kate has over 20 years experience in the entertainment industry with expertise in both national and international media campaigns. As a freelance publicist Kate managed numerous publicity campaigns for clients including The Dublin Theatre Festival and The Cat Laughs Comedy Festival. A former director of Co-Motion Company, she produced and promoted Frank Pig Says Hello the award-winning stage adaptation of Patrick McCabe’s novel The Butcher Boy, which toured London, New York and Melbourne. She was also a director of Connections, an independent film and television company.
