DSP Writers Conference 2019 Opens Call for Submissions
10 Jan 2019 : News Desk
Northern Ireland Screen & Darlow Smithson Productions would like to hear from writers interested in writing for returnable TV drama series, in advance of the Writers Conference to be held in January 2019.

As part of the selection process, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland resident writers are asked to submit a spec writing sample of up to 15 pages. At this stage, it is not prescriptive on form or genre – writing samples may be standalone or excerpts from longer-form pieces.

Shortlisted writers will be notified by 18 January and invited to attend the Writers Conference to be held in Belfast on 24/25 January 2019.

Interested applicants are asked to send all submissions by email to pearce.cullen@dsp.tv with “DSP Writers Conference” in the subject heading.

Please also ensure that the writing sample cover page contains your name and contact information. (All information will be held in strict accordance with General Data Protection Regulation).

Deadline for submissions is Friday 11 January at 6pm and unfortunately any submissions received after this date will not be accepted.
