The four-week intensive workshop caters to both professional and non-professional actors and performers and runs from March 15th to April 5th in Filmbase, Templebar.
Maria Tecce is an actor, singer, and voice coach from Boston now based in Dublin with fifteen years of experience in the media, and a wide range of work which has been featured in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Ulster Bank Dublin Theatre Festival and also includes work with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra.
Participants will begin training in breathing and physical awareness, then moving into vocal production, text work, and exercises to strengthen and develop range and text delivery.
At the end of the programme, participants will leave with detailed knowledge of good vocal practices, physical and vocal awareness, warm-ups they can use in any situation, techniques and skills to get colour, clarity, and confidence into their vocal delivery, and how to manage nerves and prepare for auditions.
