Young Irish Film Makers now enrolling for Summer Camps
31 Jan 2017 : Katie McNeice
Four week-long Summer camps are running in July 2017 from 9:00-17:00 weekdays at St. Joseph’s Studios, Waterford Rd, Co. Kilkenny.

Applications are welcome for both junior and senior camps, with children grouped from nine to twelve and thirteen to sixteen years old respectively.

YIFM Summer Camps are for young people to come and learn all about film making, teamwork, creativity, problem solving and more.

Young people will be guided through interactive workshops on all aspects of filmmaking, from writing the script to shooting and creating their own director’s cut.

At the end of this fun filled week they will attend their very own movie premiere, which family and friends are welcome to attend. Each child will receive a copy of their short film on DVD.
