We are delighted to be re-teaming with them and the amazing Colin Farrell for ''The Killing of a Sacred Deer'. Film4 have as always been amazing backers and we look forward to working with them on the production along with our friends at HanWay and New Sparta Films.”

The film is fully-financed by Film4 and New Sparta Films under a partnership arrangement brokered by Hanway Films. The project was developed by Element Pictures and Film4.

HanWay Films has boarded as worldwide sales agent. A US deal has been concluded with A24.

Element and Film4 are also set to collaborate on Lanthimos’ next film’ ‘The Favourite’. The film takes place at the end of the 17th century and follows the political machinations behind the scenes during the reign of Queen Anne, the last monarch of the House of Stuarts.
