Galway Film Centre host June Premiere Pro Training with Keith Bailey

The two-day training course runs on June 10th and 11th in the Galway Film Centre and is suited to both new and existing users of the Adobe software.

The official course will also suit cross-skilling Final Cut Pro and Avid editors, and will cover all aspects of Premiere Pro as outlined below.

Participants will work end-to-end on a short promo piece learning to import, preview, mark and edit clips to the timeline efficiently. The piece is finished appropriately with sound
effects, music and the mixing thereof. This is a comprehensive tour of Premiere Pro covering ingest through to export guided by an Adobe Certified Instructor for Premiere Pro and After Effects.

Day One:

  • Setting up a Project
  • Importing and Organising Media
  • Previewing and Marking Up Clips
  • Creating Sequences
  • Essentials of Video Editing

Day Two:

  • Editing of the Timeline
  • Audio Editing with Audition
  • Audio Mixing
  • Colour Correction with Lumetri Effects
  • Creating Titles
  • Exporting Frames, Clips and Sequences

The course is priced at €190 for members and €200 for non-members and can be booked by emailing admin @ galwayfilmcentre.ie or calling 091 770748.

About Keith Bailey
Keith has provided training and consultation in post-production creative media software and workflow practices after being sponsored by Apple to become an Apple Certified Trainer in Final Cut Pro 5 in 2007. Since then, he has expanded his certified repertoire and remains all-Ireland’s only Apple Certified Master Trainer and Adobe Certified Instructor for Premiere Pro and After Effects.
