  ‘Skunk Fu!’ Nominated for BAFTA
Cartoon Salon’s cartoon series ‘Skunk Fu’ has been nominated for a Children’s BAFTA in the Best Animation Category, with the awards taking place on 10 November in London.more
  Anthony Byrne To Helm ‘Wild Decembers’
Principal Photography will commence on the television adaptation of Enda O’ Brien’s novel ‘Wild Decembers’ on 10 November. The drama which is being produced by Octagon Films for RTÉ will be helmed by Anthony Byrne (Short Order, How About You).more
  'Hunger' & 'In Bruges' Top Brit Indie Awards Shortlist
Northern Irish feature ‘Hunger’ and Martin McDonagh’s ‘In Bruges’ received the most nominations for the 11th annual British Independent Film Awards (BIFA) taking place on November 30 in London. Other Irish related productions ‘The Daisy Chain’, ‘The Escapist’ and ‘The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas’ also received nominations.more

Irish Talent Behind BBC1’s ‘Little Dorrit’
Irish director Dearbhla Walsh (The Tudors, Shamless) is the lead director on the lavish 14 part adaptation of Charles Dickens’ ‘Little Dorrit’ which began airing on BBC1 last weekend. Irish cinematographer Owen McPolin (Eden, Pure Mule) also worked on the production. more
