Irish Film Board Comment on Budget Announcement
James Morris, Chairman of the Irish Film Board, comments on the Budget, which sees reduction of funding for the Board reduced to €20.4 million from €23.2 million. more
Irish Animation Focus at PAF Fest 2008
Over 50 Irish feature and short animations will be screen at the upcoming PAF 2008 Animation Film Festival in Olomouc, Czech Republic running from 11 -14 December as part of the festival’s focus and celebration on the past and future of Irish animation. more

ILBF Irish Language Audience Research Results
The third Irish Language Broadcast Fund qualitative audience research report, carried recently by Millward Brown Ulster in Northern Ireland, has revealed a it’s results including the significant rise in the number of viewers who feel that Irish language programmes encourage their interest in the language. more
