 Live Drama Series ‘Seomra a Sé’ Begins On TG4
‘Seomra a Sé’, a new series of four live 30min dramas broadcast from Solas Studios, Galway, begins airing on Thursday 13 March at 9.30pm on TG4. The series begins with ‘An Fear a Stáitse’, written by Cecilia McAllister and directed by Robert Quinn. more
 ‘Eden’ US Premiere at Tribeca Film Festival
Declan Recks’ latest feature film ‘Eden’, written by Eugene O’Brien, will receive its US premiere at the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival. The pic, which is broadcast on RTÉ One on 17 March, is one of 122 films to screen at the fest, chosen from 2,328 film submissions. more

The Irish Language Broadcast Fund (ILBF) has announced its latest funding decisions, with a second series of youth drama ‘Seacht’ commissioned in addition to new documentary, entertainment and new media projects. more
'In Bruges' No.1 At Irish Box Office
Martin McDonagh’s feature film debut ‘In Bruges’, starring Colin Farrell (Phonebooth, Miami Vice) and Brendan Gleeson (Beowulf, The Tiger’s Tail), reached number one in the Irish box office at its opening weekend. more
Gleeson Joins Damon for Greengrass Thriller
Irish actor Brendan Gleeson (In Bruges, Beowulf) will join Matt Damon (The Bourne Identity) in a new thriller directed by Paul Greengrass (The Bourne Ultimatum, United 93) for Universal and Working Title. more

‘Garage’ Opens to Rave UK Reviews
Lenny Abrahamson’s IFTA winning film ‘Garage’ opened across UK cinemas on Friday 7th March to warm reviews from the British press. The Financial Times described the pic as “maybe the best thing that has ever happened to Irish cinema”, while The Guardian described it as “a gem of a film”. more
