Win John Ford Ireland Film Symposium Season Tickets IFTN in association with John Ford Ireland is offering readers a chance to win a pair of Season Passes to the John Ford Ireland Film Symposium. Taking place in Dublin from 7 - 10 June, the inaugural Symposium celebrates the work of legendary filmmaker John Ford and his lasting legacy in modern filmmaking. The packed programme of events features screenings of classic John Ford films and films inspired by Ford including; an outdoor screening of The Searchers and the 20th Anniversary Screening of Clint Eastwood's Unforgiven, introduced by the film's Oscar winning editor Joel Cox. There will also be a host of discussions, movie masterclasses and public interviews with leading filmmakers such as Peter Bogdanovich, Stephen Frears, Jim Sheridan, John Boorman, Thaddeus O'Sullivan and Brian Kirk, a special writers panel where Irish screenwriters Pat McCabe, Colin Bateman and Ian Power, will discuss John Ford's influence and work, in addition to musical performances across the city.
