Actors Brendan Gleeson and Andrew Scott – and composer Stephen Rennicks – were the big Irish winners at the 17th annual Moët British Independent Film Awards on Sunday, December 7th.

IFTN visits the set of TV3’s upcoming ‘Red Rock’ and talks to GARETH PHILIPS, the series producer – editorial behind the series.

2015 is destined to be a big year for Irish DOP John Conroy with a trifecta of impressive international television shows airing in the New Year. First up, there is the Sky Atlantic show ‘Fortitude’. Starring Richard Dormer and Stanley Tucci, the show tells the story of a violent crime occurring in the gorgeous backdrop of a quiet town in Iceland.

RTÉ today announced that its new three-part drama, ‘Charlie’ will begin at 9.30pm on Sunday 4 January, 2015 on RTÉ One and run over three successive Sundays.

Limerick City of Culture 2014 in partnership with Behind the Scenes has announced the two winners of the extremely competitive Film Limerick Scheme, who were selected from 131 applicants.

The Irish Film Board has reopened the Screenplay Development fund for applications. The fund is an essential part of the IFB's development policy supporting established and emerging writers, writer/directors and directors to develop projects with financial and editorial support early in their genesis.
