The film is a sequel to John Boorman’s ‘Hope and Glory’.

The most talked about feature at the Tribeca Film Festival in NYC this week is ‘The Canal’, written and directed by Ivan Kavanagh and posted at Egg Post Production.

The co-presentation is in association with the Boston Irish Film Festival.

The festival took place March 20-23 this year.

‘Cuckoo’ collected 7 awards in the Drama category.

The thriller is in its last stages of sound design at Mutiny Studios.

Directed, written and produced by Diarmuid Lavery and Michael Hewitt, sports documentary ‘Road’ has been acquired for distribution in the UK by indie distributor Kaleidoscope Entertainment. The deal was negotiated with British sales banner The Works International.

The biopic was co-produced by Subotica’s Tristan Orpen Lynch.

Applications are now open for the Irish Film Board’s Frameworks animated short film scheme, which is co-funded by RTÉ. The next application deadline is midnight on Friday, May 2, 2014.

The documentary also won this year’s IFTA for Best Short.
