With two major US productions set to film in NI this year, Northern Ireland Screen are focusing on bringing local talent and productions to this year's Cannes Film Festival revealing five new home-grown productions in the works. more

Irish Production Levels Rise in '08
The European Audiovisual Observatory has released figures for EU film production and cinema attendance for 2008. Feature film production across the continent is up by 112 films from 2007 with Irish production levels up by 16% in 2008. more

Irish Titles Bound for Cannes
The Irish Film Board has announced 18 Irish projects that will be presented at the Irish Pavilion during the 2009 Cannes Film Festival. Among the titles and companies who will be attending the festival are Neil Jordan's 'Ondine', Ian Fitzgibbon's 'Perriers Bounty', Andre Nebe's 'The Race' and Conor McPherson's 'The Eclipse'. more

Over 60 Irish companies have registered their attendance with Irish Pavilion for this year's Cannes Film Festival (May 13th - 24th). The Pavilion, which is the central point for the Irish presence at the Festival, will be providing focus for business, information and social elements for the Irish attendees to the festival as well as hosting events and seminars.more
