HBO Pilot To Film In Northern Ireland
NI First Minister Peter D. Robinson MP MLA and deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness MP MLA have confirmed that US network channel HBO, will film a TV pilot in Northern Ireland this year entitled 'A Game of Thrones'. more

RTE Cancels 'Seoige' Show
RTE has announced that this Friday's edition of the daytime programme 'Seoige' will be the last. The series, presented by sisters Grainne and Sile Seoige, will finish its run on Friday 24 April as planned and a new series will not be commissioned for the autumn. more

'Best' Drama to Screen on BBC NI
'Best: His Mother's Son', a fact-based drama telling the story of footballer George Best's relationship with his mother will screen on Sunday, April 26th on BBC Two NI at 9pm. The 90 minute drama will be followed by a making of documentary entitled 'Best: Made in Belfast' at 10.30pm. more

i-Wire Films in conjunction with Warrior Films and Real Ideas Studio have wrapped production on the short film 'The Good Doctor' in Dublin. Venom Film's Antidote teams up with Pfizer & The Chronic Pain Association for post on three shorts shot by award winning directors; Irish titles will screen at the Newport Beach Film Festival and 'The Cemetery People', was recently selected for San Sebastian Human Rights Film Festival. more
