A Handling Ideas Approach Workshop with Paul Taylor in Galway

Producers, Directors and Screenwriters are invited to discover new ways of developing stories in a unique workshop with Paul Tyler in Galway on 28th March organised by Creative Europe Desk MEDIA Office Galway.

The workshop is offered free of charge with the support of the BAI Sectoral Learning and Development Fund. It will begin on the morning of March 28th with an introduction to the Handling Ideas approach followed by a Mapping Session on a specific project which will be open to all participants and observers.

This will be followed by a Q & A with Paul regarding his methodology.  The remainder of the Workshop will consist of individuals or Writer/Producer/ Director teams working with Paul on their projects for an hour and a half time slot on the 28th or 29th March.

In a project specific Mapping session, Paul will help to prototype an idea, concept, story or format.  He will use a very focused and intensive interview technique to assist participants to visualise and concretise ideas, to create an overview that eliminates misunderstandings, enables collaboration and unlocks decision making.
