Filmbase to host The Teen Actors Programme

The five-day course will run from Monday February 20th 2017 in Filmbase, Temple Bar and is suitable for participants aged between thirteen and seventeen

Students should have a basic understanding of performance and an interest in exploring acting in a fun and relaxed environment. Each participant will partake in a headshot photoshoot, and will receive digital copies.

They will also receive a recorded audition scene to send to casting directors and acting CV examples in addition to contacts lists.

During the programme students will delve deeper into building characters, taking direction and scene work while learning lots of fun exercises.

  • Camera work – What the camera will see
  • Understanding my character
  • Taking direction
  • Acting exercises
  • Improvisation
  • Duologues
  • Auditions
  • Actors Headshot (Digital copies)
  • Actors edited audition scene
