Ardmore Studios is Irelands foremost feature film studios. Located just 12 miles south of Dublin, it can draw on all the infrastructure of the country’s capital, such as hotels, international airport, etc. The studio is within easy reach of a vast range of locations. The four-wall complex has a comprehensive range of facilities including sound stages, production offices, workshop, props wardrobe, cameras, lights and postproduction. Productions have ranged from feature films (Braveheart, Angelas Ashes, The Count of Monte Cristo) to series (Mystic Knights, Ballykissangel) and music videos (U2, Boyzone).

Established in 1987, Double Z Enterprises is primarily involved with television production, talent management and licensing. In addition to writing and producing TV shows for RTE, ITV, BBC, Channel 4 and MTV, they also provide consulting services for traditional and new media, including a non-linear children’s television service and the development of a comedy broadband internet broadcast channel. The company has provided talent for corporate videos commissioned by clients such as Budweiser, Microsoft, Esat, Shell and Bank of Ireland. Since 1994, Brown Bag have specialised in producing character animation for an international client base from the heart of Dublin’s city center. Using the leading industry standard software such as Avid, Animo, 3D Studio Max, Flash, Photoshop and After Effects, BBF can bring a new dimension of character to any project. Brown Bag Films have worked as a service studio for many European studios and have worked on several well known animations series. Dublin based Independent Pictures specialises in factual programming across lifestyle and documentary genres both for national and international markets. Founded in 1979, the company employs 20 full time professionals plus 10 – 15 contract personnel at any particular time. Network Ireland Limited is the first Irish-based development and distribution company, which was established in October 1995, with the objective of providing a sales and marketing service for television programme makers and film producers in Ireland and an inward distribution service for international distributors to domestic Irish broadcasters.
