Element Pictures' The Favourite Nominated for Three SAG Awards

Following on from the film’s recent Golden Globes and Critics’ Choice Awards nominations, ‘The Favourite’ has been nominated for three awards at this year’s SAG Awards.

Yorgos Lanthimos’ female driven cast continues to be recognised with Olivia Coleman receiving another nomination, this time for ‘Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role’. Others named in the category include: Emily Blunt (‘Mary Poppins Returns’), Glenn Close (‘The Wife’), Lady Gaga (‘A Star Is Born’) and Melissa McCarthy (‘Can You Ever Forgive Me?’).

Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz also continued their fantastic awards run, with nominations once again in the ‘Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role’ alongside Amy Adams (‘Vice’), Emily Blunt (‘A Quiet Place’) and Margot Robbie (‘Mary Queen of Scots’).
