Northern Ireland Screen Open Applications for Trainee VFX Artist Programme
05 Jul 2018 : Nathan Griffin
Northern Ireland Screen is now accepting applications for its skills development programme, VFX 2018.

This is a paid-placement opportunity with one of Northern Ireland’s top VFX studios, Yellowmoon Post Production Ltd, which is expanding its picture-finishing department and is currently hiring VFX personnel to work on high-end television drama and feature film projects.

The position is a trainee post, jointly funded by Northern Ireland Screen, and is open to anyone who is determined to have a career in the VFX industry. The successful candidate will be placed on a contract from August 2018 – March 2019, (NMW/NLW) and will have the opportunity to work on the highest profile projects that post in Northern Ireland.

A willingness to learn and self-motivation are crucial to this position and some previous experience with compositing packages would be very beneficial but not essential.

The closing date for receipt of applications is 12pm, Tuesday 17th July 2018.
