The latest feature project from Frank Berry (I Used to Live Here) will have its world premiere at the 2017 Galway Film Fleadh, with both lead actor Dafhyd Flynn and producer Donna Eperon nominated for the Ray Bingham New Talent Award.
‘Michael Inside’ is written and directed by Berry, with Tristan Lynch and Aoife O’Sullivan producing the Subotica Entertainment title alongside Eperon.
Robbie Walsh (Cardboard Gangsters), Moe Dunford (Patrick’s Day) and Lalor Roddy (Séasmus) also star. The title marks the second collaboration for Berry and his lead actor, who also starred in the acclaimed ‘I Used to Live Here’.
Synopsis
Michael McCrea is an impressionable 18-year-old living with his grandfather Francis in a Dublin housing estate, who gets caught holding a bag of drugs for his friend’s older brother and is sentenced to three months in prison.
