Behold The Lamb
John McIlduff's feature film debut ‘Behold The Lamb’ has picked up two wins this week. The film picked up the award for Best Screenplay at the Thessalonaki International Film Festival, in Greece. The film also picked up the l’Atlas d’Argent award for Best Director at the Arras in France.

Written and directed by John McIlduff and produced by Kevin Jackson, ‘Behold The Lamb’ is a dark comedy movie about a fifty year old depressed accountant named Eddie and young tearaway, Liz, who travel across Northern Ireland to pick up a lamb.

Speaking to IFTN about the awards McIlduff said, "It was a great week for the film. We were playing to packed cinemas in five festivals around Europe including a screening in Cork. We've had a good run of festivals including screenings at Toronto and Karlovy Vary but these are our first awards and I’ve got to say it's a nice feeling to walk away with two awards in two days."

The cast includes Aoife Duffin (What Richard Did, Earthbound) and Nigel O’Neill (The Man Who Crossed Hitler, Chimera). It is a Dumbworld Production funded through the Northern Ireland Screen Ultra Low Budget Feature Film Scheme and Film4.
