Dublin-based Tyrell is a technology solutions provider for the broadcast, post production, production and education sectors in Ireland and the UK.
They recently implemented a next-generation graphics solution from the Avid Studio Suite for TV3, which will become live on Studio One toward the end of this month, with further enhancements to be made to Studio Two in the near future.
The work was undertaken to refresh daily studio production for key programming, reinforce the shows’ brands and re-establish ownership of content for producers and journalists.
This round of work sees TV3 add to their existing Avid infrastructure with tools from Avid Maestro which is an on-air graphics and video solution for high-res 3D graphics and videos, allowing users to interest through on-screen social media integration.
Tools from 4Designer are also included in this upgrade, which is the foundation of Avid real-time graphics systems, allowing TV3 to create compelling content for newscasts, panel shows and sports programming.
