Griffith College - #IFTNTraining

With the CAO deadline looming (February 1st), IFTN has scoured some of the film, television and animation courses Griffith College has to offer for prospective students.

Established in 1974, Griffith College is Ireland's largest independent third level institution. Graduates have gone on to successful careers in a wide variety of sectors, from accountancy, business and computing to music, fashion, design and law. With three campus locations across Dublin, Cork and Limerick.

We run through a selection of courses relevant to the TV, Film & Animation industries that are currently offered by Griffith College:

Pulse College is very excited to partner with Griffith College, Ireland’s largest independent third level institution, to deliver this new course , BA (Hons) in Animation a 3 year full time undergraduate programme. If you would like to take the first steps to becoming a professional animator. Pulse College’s BA (Hons) in Animation is developed and taught by practicing industry professionals to ensure that you receive the very highest levels of training. A key part of the course involves producing a portfolio of work that will help you get into the exciting and growing Irish and international animation industry.

Have a passion for filmmaking and storytelling on screen? This all-action course with a huge focus on building practical skills will help you direct the career of your dreams. A 3 year full time undergraduate programme, this course has been created for people who’ve already started to experiment in these areas. Delivered in association with Pulse College and Windmill Lane Recording Studios, the course will help you turn your passion into a fulfilling career.

Griffith College is very excited to partner with Pulse College to deliver this brand new, unique and industry focused BA (Hons) in Audio and Music Technology programme. A 3 year full time undergraduate course it will cover aspects of Recording studios, Live Venue’s, TV, Post-Production, Live Performance.  It has become an audio industry essential to be skilled in array of disciplines.  It is with these various industry disciplines in mind that we have designed a new BA (Hons) in Audio & Music Technology Programme.
