Manus Goan Joins Windmill Lane as a Senior Creative
18 Jul 2018 : Nathan Griffin
Windmill Lane has added Manus Goan to Windmill Create, their content creation, animation and motion graphics team.

This will see Goan collaborating on projects for Windmill’s broad client base in the film, TV, advertising, and branded content sectors, along with strengthening and growing the teams offering in areas such as experience and motion design.

An IADT Animation graduate, he originally started out working as a motion designer with The Element before completing a Masters in Trinity College in Music and Media Technology (focusing on spatial audio for CG) and he followed this with a year long stint at Jam Media (‘Roy’) as a compositor.

Relocating to New York for a number of years, Manus worked for the US wing of Platige before ending up as creative director in Scout where he oversaw projects for brands such as ESPN, Verizon, Bloomberg and Pepsi.

Since returning to Ireland, Manus has worked as a freelance creative/artist with agencies and
studios such as Rothco, Piranha Bar, Raygun, Element and Facebook.

Speaking about the appointment, Manus told IFTN:

“I am excited to be joining Windmill Create, particularly at this time. Having had to the chance to work with them on a number of occasions this past year, I’ve been continually impressed with the collaborative ethos and the drive to consistently create high quality work, across a wide variety of both existing and emerging platforms.”

John Kennedy, Executive Creative Director with Windmill added:

“I’d like to welcome Manus to Windmill where we’ve been working hard to respond to industry challenges and bring about effective change so that we can collaborate in an increasingly more proactive way with our creative clients and partners. Manus is a perfect fit for where we are going and I look forward to what he will bring to our collective creative knowledge and offering.”
