AGC Studios have announced IFTA Nominee Alison Oliver’s (Conversations with Friends) casting along with that of Jurnee Smollett (Lovecraft Country), Marc Maron (To Leslie) & Odessa Young (The Staircase).

No information in regards to the specific roles the new cast members will be playing has been announced. They join a cast that already includes Jude Law (The Talented Mr. Ripley), Nicholas Hoult (Mad Max: Fury Road), and Tye Sheridan (Ready Player One). Justin Kurzel (Macbeth) will direct.

The film is based on The Silent Brotherhood, a book by Kevin Flynn and Gary Gerhardt. The non-fiction book chronicles the escalating crimes of the titular white supremacist domestic terror group.

The Order is set in 1983 amongst a series of increasingly violent bank robberies, counterfeiting operations, and armored car heists that frighten communities throughout the Pacific Northwest. As law enforcement agents look for answers, an FBI agent (Law), stationed in the town of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, comes to believe the crimes were not the work of traditional, financially motivated criminals, but a group of dangerous domestic terrorists, inspired by a radical, charismatic leader (Hoult), who are plotting a devastating war against the federal government of the United States.

Oscar nominee Zach Baylin (Creed III) adapted the screenplay, with AGC Studios financing the project and producing with Bryan Haas for Chasing Epic Pictures, and Law’s Riff Raff Entertainment. Haas, Law, and Ford will produce alongside Kurzel, Ben Jackson, and Stephen Fuss for Riff Raff Entertainment. Baylin, Kate Susman, Jeremy Saulnier, and Zach Garrett of AGC Studios will serve as exec producers.

Oliver was recently IFTA-nominated for Lead Actress (Drama) for her TV debut in Conversations with Friends, the Lenny Abrahamson-directed mini-series adaptation of Sally Rooney’s novel of the same name. She studied at the Lir Academy in Dublin.
