Job Recruitment: Screen Ireland seeks Business Affairs Co-Ordinator

Screen Ireland currently wishes to engage a Business Affairs Co-Ordinator who will join the Business Affairs team.

The Business Affairs co-ordinator will work specifically across the contracting of development projects and assist the Development Executive and the Production and Development Co-Ordinator with the co-ordination of the entire Screen Ireland development slate. The role will also include some regulatory duties and the Business Affairs co-ordinator will act as the Freedom of information Officer and the Data Protection Officer.

This position reports directly to the Business Affairs Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contracting of projects on Screen Ireland’s development slate,
  • Working with Screen Ireland’s Project managers on the development budgets and milestones,
  • Working with Screen Ireland’s Development Executive and the Production and Development Co-Ordinator on the status of projects in development up to and including delivery,
  • Management of Screen Ireland’s data protection responsibilities and will act as Screen Ireland’s Data Protection Officer,
  • Management of Screen Ireland freedom of information responsibilities and will act as Screen Ireland’s FOI Officer,
  • To support effective workflows and processes and to provide key support in undertaking strategic initiatives.

Key Skills/Competencies

  • Excellent computer package proficiency including Word and Excel and power-point,
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a fast-paced team who can contribute to a dynamic and innovative working environment,
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and be obsessive about accuracy,
  • Must have a strong client focus,
  • Must be able to work to challenging deadlines and work on own initiative,
  • A knowledge of project development and underlying IP rights would be an advantage,
  • A knowledge of current Freedom of Information and Data Protection legislation would be an advantage.

Particulars of the Position

  • This position is at EO level and is remunerated on the scale starting at €30,884.
  • Access to the Screen Ireland Single Pension Scheme for the duration of the contract.
  • The term is a 5-year fixed term position.
  • It is full-time and exclusive to Screen Ireland and successful candidate will be required to sign the Screen Ireland Code of Conduct.
  • The role will have a 6-month probation period.
  • The post is based primarily in Dublin
  • Annual leave (ex-bank holidays) of 23 days
