Robert Sheehan returns in Umbrella Academy Season Two
20 May 2020 : News Desk
Neflix's Umbrella Academy.
The Irish actor will reprise his role as Klaus Hargreeves in the second season of the hit Netflix series, streaming from July 31st.

Based on the Eisner Award-winning graphic novel series created and written by Gerard Way and illustrated by Gabriel Bá, The Umbrella Academy is an intense family drama series power-charged with superhero action. It was adapted for television by showrunner Steve Blackman (Fargo, Altered Carbon), who returns alongside executive producers Jeff F. King, Mike Richardson, Keith Goldberg, Gerard Way, and Gabriel Bá. Way and Bá serve as co-executive producers.

The season two order includes 10 one-hour episodes and is produced by UCP (Universal Content Productions) for Netflix, and sees Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Aidan Gallagher, and Justin H. Min reprising their roles alongside Sheehan.

Born in Portlaoise, Sheehan (The Mortal Instruments, Fortitude, Misfits) plays the Role of drug addicted Klaus, who can summon and commune with the dead when sober. “He's a flakey, messy drug addict,” says Sheehan, speaking about the role last season. “Dead people regularly harangue him to do something for them—pass on a message or whatever. He's this tortured character who tries to keep the party going 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so as to run from all of the screaming voices in his head.”

Season two of The Umbrella Academy will start streaming on Netflix on 31st July.
