Open Masterclasses on Television Development as part of the Torino SeriesLab

As part of TorinoFilmLab’s residential workshops in Ireland for the fourth edition of SeriesLab, Irish screen industry professions can attend two open masterclasses on TV drama development.

Taking place on Friday 13th and Monday 16th December 2019 at The Royal Marine Hotel in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin, two free masterclasses will be presented by SeriesLab tutors Nicola Lusardi and Andrea Nobile.

FRIDAY 13th 14.30 - 16.30

“How does a serial concept work?”

"What ever happened to zombies, dragons, monsters, ghosts: when and why did they stop being "nerd stuff" and became everyone's favorite?"

Themes, topics, hearts (and blood) that hide behind the huge success of fantasy, horror and sci-fi in contemporary tv-series.

SeriesLab is an international development programme which guides international scriptwriters and directors in the development of innovative and unpublished long TV series projects at an early stage of development.
