Screen Ireland Now Recruiting for the Position of Chief Executive

Fís Éireann / Screen Ireland, the national development agency for the Irish film and screen industries, investing in talent, creativity and enterprise, is now recruiting the position of Chief Executive.

Reporting to the Board, the Chief Executive has overall responsibility for the leadership of the organisation and the delivery of its strategic plan.  The development and growth of the industry in Ireland is a core responsibility and the appointee will bring energy, passion and expertise to this objective.  Leveraging the expertise that exists within the team and across the industry, the Chief Executive will be an inspirational leader, who will bring strong strategic, advocacy and operational capabilities to the organization.  Possessing well-honed commercial and stakeholder management skills, coupled with a proven track record of leadership and management, the appointee will be an exceptional communicator, who will champion the ambitions of the industry at a time of ongoing change and tremendous opportunity.

Screen Ireland supports and promotes Irish film, television and animation projects, through fostering Irish artistic vision and diverse creative and production talent.  The agency also has a remit to promote Irish film, attract filmmakers and investment into the country, promoting Ireland as a world-class location for film production and manage Screen Skills Ireland.  The industry has enjoyed huge success in recent years and has significant additional growth potential.
