Tile Films’ ‘The Great Guide to the Future’ picks up Deauville Award
01 Aug 2017 :
The fourth episode in the series, entitled ‘Housing’ directed by Martin Dwan has earned the Golden Green Award under the Housing and Town Planning category.

The first episode, ‘Energy’ was also a finalist in the Energy Transition category. The full series is available to watch on TV3 Player.

The festival, now in its fifth year, encourages the making of top quality information films, spots and documentaries on sustainability, eco-innovations and social responsibility.

Synopsis
‘Housing’ explores in detail the way other countries with a high population construct their cities, seeking a way for Ireland to move forward and upward, towards a sustained way of living. This innovative approach to the future of housing in Ireland has now been internationally recognised!

‘The Great Guide to the Future’ is a science-travel documentary series presented by science journalist Jonathan McCrea revealing what the future will look like and premiered on TV3's newest channel, be3, on Sunday 26th February at 7pm.

The series is produced by Deborah Kuleff, with Stephen Rooke as Executive Producer, Ronan Fox as DoP, Kevin Cooney as editor and Dave Dorgan as sound recordist.
