Steve Lichtag’s (A Myth Called Shark) eco-centric family film has just wrapped the Irish talent’s voice work in Hawaii, with Brosnan’s work directed by René Veilleux (Snow Queen).
The title is produced by Petr Keller and Robert Schneider, with Lichtag directing his own screenplay. Vision Films are set to handle worldwide sales at the American Film Market 2017, running from November 1st-8th.
The ‘I.T.’ actor voices every role in the film, which is available in both 2D and 3D, and includes an elderly man in addition to a giant tortoise, a coconut crab, a turtle and grouper. Each of these lives on an island which rises and drops below the Indian Ocean.
Pierce Brosnan, Narrator:
“Aldabra: Once Upon An Island is a film for every age in the family, about an island far away, a film that reflects the beauty and fragility of our beautiful Earth.”
Lise Romanoff, Managing Director & CEO, Vision Films:
“We are thrilled to share Aldabra with the world. It was so appropriate to record the narration for a film about a very special island while on a very special island. This is film is pure entertainment for all ages.”
