First Cut! Youth Festival runs in Youghal from April 27th-29th
2017-04-20 9:00:00 :
'The Young Offenders'
The eighth instalment of the festival, which caters to young Irish filmmakers with screenings, workshops and talks from industry professionals takes place next week.

It provides a valuable opportunity for young people to network and share their passion for making films with a wide group of likeminded people.

This year’s festival features a presentation by Peter Foot, writer, director and co-producer of ‘The Young Offenders’. He will talk through the process he used to make the box office hit, which is one of Ireland’s most successful comedy projects in recent years.

Prior to this he was creator, writer and producer of RTÉ’s hit comedy show ‘The Fear’ and a producer, writer and director on RTÉ’s longest running comedy show ‘Republic Of Telly’. His music video credits include producing and directing The Rubberbandits’ ‘Horse Outside’ video.
