Two Irish contestants Dillon St Paul and Gráinne McCoy were among the 18 hopefuls chosen to compete in this year’s series to become Alan Sugar’s next apprentice.

One of the current Irish contestants Dillon St Paul, is a 37 year old freelance art director from Dublin. He's appeared in RTÉ2 reality show ‘Fade Street’ alongside Vogue Williams. The second hopeful is 31-year-old Gráinne McCoy from Newry, Co Down. The makeup studio owner.
Other former Irish contestants on the show include Jennifer Zamparelli, who is a now a familiar face on RTÉ being part of the comedy duo ‘Bridget & Eamon’ and is also a host of Breakfast Republic on RTÉ 2fm
Hopefully we’ll see how far they reach in the battle to become Alan Sugar’s next apprentice as both Dillon & Gráinne are still contestants in the current series. They have made it as far as episode 7 which airs tonight Thursday 24th November, 9pm on BBC one.
