Mary Pike to tutor Introduction to Rhino for Art Department

Screen Training Ireland will host the one-day training event, which takes place Saturday, December 10th in the Guinness Enterprise Centre, Dublin 8.

The course is designed for art department personnel looking to enhance their knowledge of Rhino 3D software, with an emphasis on how it is applied across that department. Although training will be conducted on PCs, MAC users are welcome to bring their own laptops.

Mary Pike has worked on such productions as ‘Avatar’, ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’, ‘The Hobbit Trilogy’ and ‘Elysium.’ She is a specialist in 3D Modelling and Manufacture for Art Departments, with much of her work in the past number of years dedicated to ‘Alice Through the Looking Glass’ and ‘Star Wars Episode VIII.’

  • 2D Draughting Tools
  • Basic 3D Modelling Tools
  • Sectioning Models
  • Draughting Layouts

The deadline for applications is Friday, December 2nd and the course is priced at €75 per person.
