The new series begins next Monday September 26th at 10pm and is narrated by BBC presenter John Toal.
The three-part series follows four students throughout the academic year beginning in September 2015, who are studying for qualifications in primary school teaching in local Gaelscoileanna.
Mairéad Nic Giolla Chearra from Donegal, Heather Floyd from Belfast, Seán Mac Diarmada from County Down and Cookstown student Áine Ní Ghlacáin are studying at St Mary’s University College in Belfast.
They hope to one day be able to teach in Irish medium schools but first they must face a full academic year to acquire their Post Graduate Diploma in Education / TICO qualification.
The project is a BBC Gaeilge programme with English subtitles, which is produced for BBC Northern Ireland by Big Mountain Productions with funding from Northern Ireland Screen’s Irish Language Broadcast Fund.
