Third Emmy win for Ronan Hill

Production Sound Mixer Ronan Hill wins his third Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Comedy or Drama series (one hour) at the Creative Awards in Los Angeles. Hill has worked on all sixty episodes of the epic television series Game of Thrones. Speaking to IFTN after attending the awards ceremony in LA Ronan said:

'Its amazing to be part of one of the biggest shows in the world. This award is a tribute to my hard working team and the highly professional and talented local and international production team and crew. Game of Thrones has put us on the map, not only show casing the natural beauty of our surrounding landscape but setting out the stall for N. Ireland as a centre for excellence in film and television drama production.'

Awards were also won by Carla Stronge (Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series) and Pamela Smyth (Outstanding Make-up in a single camera TV series).
